What is Kidz JAM?
Kidz JAM (Jesus And Me) is a club for boys and girls from kindergarten through sixth grade. It meets weekly on Monday evenings from Labor Day to Memorial Day, 6-8 p.m., at LeRoy Independent Baptist Church. All are welcome!
Our mission is to reach each child with the good news of Jesus and to teach them how they can have a personal relationship with Him. We do this through upbeat music, fun games, interactive lessons and activities, and memorizing Bible verses. Kids will learn fundamental Bible stories from Genesis all the way through the New Testament. The activities, music and memory verses all support each Bible lesson taught. The children are broken into three age groups to make sure each lesson is tailored to their learning level.
- Pathfinders - Kindergarten through 2nd grade
- Explorers - 3rd and 4th grade
- Navigators - 5th and 6th grade
Special Events
Every month we hold a special event such as a hayride, packing boxes for Operation Christmas Child, Christmas caroling, a talent show, and a drive-in movie night just to name a few. We especially encourage the kids to bring friends out on these special nights - we want everyone to hear the good news of Jesus!
Clubber of the Month
We have a Clubber of the Month award based on a point system which includes attendance to Kidz JAM and Sunday School, bringing your Bible, bringing a friend, memorizing the Bible verse and extra points for good behavior! Each child can only win once per year but at the end of the year we have a special prize for the Clubber of the Year in each age level.
Registration, Calendar of Events and Dues
When your child attends Kidz JAM for the first time, be sure to fill out and submit the registration form that can be downloaded below. You may also download our Calendar of Events to find out what we have planned for the year, when club is not being held, and when our other services are held. We collect dues each week to help cover the cost of materials. They are 50 cents per night or $15 for the year per child. If this is an issue, please let a leader know and other arrangements can be made. we don't want anyone to miss out on hearing the Gospel!
