Dave and Bev Toro joined ABWE in 1959. The Lord led them to Santiago, Chile, where they planted two fine churches.

In 1973 they transferred to Sydney, Australia, and planted two more churches, one of which was among the growing Hispanic community.

Dave and Bev returned to the USA in 1984 and planted Iglesia Bautista Emanuel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and also pastored Southside Baptist Church. The Toros have been the only ABWE missionaries to plant churches on three continents.

Since the Lord called Bev Home to glory in 1992, Dave has continued to minister in Ft. Lauderdale.
